According to a study conducted Russia, it was proved that those, especially men who exhibited low cholesterol levels were heavy drinkers, usually uneducated and extremely thin. Early deaths were found to be due to heavy drinking, meeting with accidents and low cholesterol.
Eating less causes cholesterol levels in the blood to drop significantly. Various conditions like cancer, alcoholism and lung diseases cause a person to suppress their appetites thereby losing weight and lowering cholesterol levels.
As soon as low cholesterol levels are detected, the person must immediately seek medical attention. Doctors should check for cancer, addictions for cigarettes and alcohol, lung diseases, mental disorders, etc. In the absence of any of these symptoms, there is usually no problem and the person can lead a long life.
